Our Fractal Design
The image on our festival posters and booklets is a fractal created by Thomas Wright from the University of Hawaii and is used with his permission. Fractals are simply graphic representations generated by complex number functions. This combination of math and
computer technology has thus opened up a new form of artistic expression…an example of the connection between science and the arts. If you would like to find out more about fractals, attend the session scheduled for Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in P110.
